    Breathe with nature

“Shinrin-yoku,” or taking in the forest atmosphere with all of your senses, is a way to slow down, unwind and connect to the natural world. This nature-oriented mindfulness practice originated in Japan in the mid 1980s in response to the stresses of urban living and long work hours. Also called forest bathing, it has been shown to lower stress response and cortisol levels, and support heart health.
