Capital Nature is pleased to host The Capital Naturalist, Alonso Abugattas!

Alonso is an award-winning Washington DC-area naturalist, environmental educator, speaker and storyteller.

When he is not delighting nature enthusiasts with stories and knowledge on the DC area natural world, Alonso serves as the Natural Resources Manager for Arlington County Parks in Virginia and on the Capital Nature Advisory Board. He is the long-time Co-Chair for this region’s chapter of the National Association for Interpretation.
