(VA) (Potomac Conservancy) Join Virginia expert forester, Jim McGlone, to discover the hidden wonders of our trees, and the next generation of trees within their seeds, in the Potomac basin. We will learn about how communities around the region are coming together to save our forests by simply collecting the seeds that drop all around us in the fall, like acorns, through the Tomorrow’s Trees program. Together, we will learn about this important work to grow tomorrow’s trees. The Tomorrow’s Trees coordinator will provide seed collection bags if you’d like to gather some seeds on your own time.

Expect to walk about 1 mile on even but unpaved terrain.
