(MD) (Casey Trees) Join Casey Trees, Montgomery Parks, and Bartlett Tree Experts to learn how to climb trees! The week-long Tree Climbing Academy will introduce climbing skills and experience to those interested in arboriculture and forestry, or those already in the tree care industry or related field.

Over the five days, candidates will be led by expert instructors in safe working concepts, ropes and knots, climbing saddles and equipment, and industry best practices. Candidates will set ropes in trees, ascend vertically, and walk limbs to traverse within the canopy of small and large trees. Upon completion, candidates will receive a Tree Climbing Academy certificate, as well as a $500 stipend. Applications accepted.
