(DC) (Anacostia Watershed Society) Join the Anacostia Watershed Society for a special birding boat tour of the Anacostia River to explore the ecological and historical changes that have occurred in the river and in the communities around the river. This will be one of our last boat tours of the year with special guest, Lynette Fullerton, who will guide us in identifying bird species of the watershed. This time of the day, we have the chance to see nighthawks, swallows, bats, beavers and more, travelling through our watershed.
