Pollinator Celebration at Natural History Museum

June 15 @ 10:00 am - 12:30 pm

(DC) (Smithsonian Natural History Museum) Join us for an early celebration of Pollinator Week! See pollinator specimens up close, meet scientists and horticulturists studying and providing habitats for our local pollinators, create your own print inspired by pollinators, and more! Smithsonian Gardens will be joining us to share about the Smithsonian’s many gardens and how insects spread pollen. We also will welcome our friends from the USDA Forest Service to share about the importance of pollinators and more information on pollinators local to us here in DC.

Families can join at any time during the duration of the event and stay as long as suits each family.

This program is held in Q?rius, The Coralyn W. Whitney Science Education Center, on the Ground Floor of the museum.
