(DC) (Rock Creek Conservancy) Help the National Capital Region Invasive Plant Management Team and Rock Creek Park remove invasive species at Picnic Grove 6! We will remove invasive Lonicera japonica (vine honeysuckle), Ampelopsis brevipedunculata (porcelain berry), Rubus phoniculaceous (wineberry), and other invasive shrubs and vines. Our goal is to remove these plants to make room for native flora and fauna in this area.
