(DC) (Rock Creek Conservancy) Help the National Park Service’s National Capital Region Invasive Plant Management Team, Rock Creek Park, and Invader Detectives survey for Corydalis incisa (Incised Fumewort). We will be hiking and recording any instance of this plant on the Valley Trail, moving south from Riley Spring Bridge. This plant was first detected in Bronx County, NY in 2005 and has spread rapidly across the East coast ever since.
Please park at Picnic Grove #10 Parking and meet at the Riley Spring Bridge. No prior knowledge or skills are required for this event, but volunteers should have the iNaturalist app downloaded on their phone before arriving at the event.
