(DC) (DC Public Library) In collaboration with Casey Trees, the Zenith Community Art Foundation has developed an exhibition celebrating the trees of D.C., drawing upon the expertise of Casey Trees’ staff of 45 professional arborists, educators, and sawmill and tree farm managers. Accompanying their exhibition at MLK Library are original works created by established regional artists offering subjective visualizations of the urban forest. Following the installation at MLK, the exhibit will travel to four different neighborhood libraries. See more information about this traveling exhibit here. MLK Library hours vary by day.
The exhibit will be on display at MLK library through May 30th. After that it will travel to various DC neighborhood library locations.
