(DC) (Anacostia Watershed Society) Join the Anacostia Watershed Society and the Phillips Collection for a boat tour of the Anacostia River in collaboration with pioneering DC Artist, Rik Freeman as he shares about his exhibition, Wade in the Waters. Rik will present on-land before we embark on the boat to explore the ecological and historical changes that have occurred in the river and in the communities around the river. We will have the opportunity to witness some of the restoration of river habitats and how it has caused the rebound of the wildlife in the Anacostia River.
