(DC) (Hillwood) Explore the Collections and Research Center native garden featuring a bio-retention pond with gardener Matt Boyle. Matt became a gardener at Hillwood in March 2017.  Prior to that, he worked in urban farming after moving back to D.C. from Virginia Tech, where he received his B.S. in Agriculture Sciences, majoring in Horticulture, and Crops and Soil Science.

Tickets are distributed at the Ellen MacNeille Charles Visitor Center upon opening each day. This thirty-minute tour is limited to twelve and meets in the visitor center conservatory.
