(DC) (MD) (VA) (American Bird Conservancy) Spring has arrived in North America, and with it, billions of migratory birds that will breed and nest in the region. Unfortunately, these birds face a gauntlet of threats as they make their journey north, and many perish along the way. Many of the dangers that migratory birds face are human-caused, such as glass windows, bright lights at night, free-roaming cats, reduced insect populations due to pesticides, and more. But the good news is that you can help!
