The Spring Equinox is a moment of balance: the point at which day and night are of equal length. From here on out, we are tipping further into the light. Take a moment to pause, mark this seasonal shift, and cross the celestial threshold into Spring. On this hike, we will begin along the Towpath by Carderock and voyage up to the Great Falls overlook. After enjoying the power of the Falls, we will return back to Carderock. Expect a 4-mile roundtrip hike along the natural surface Towpath and boardwalks of Great Falls at a pace faster than our usual naturalist’s shuffle.
