SUMMARY:The Effects of Climate Breakdown on Birds (Virtual)
DESCRIPTION:(VA) (Northern Virginia Bird Alliance) Climate breakdown is already having significant effects on the natural environment\, including serious impacts on bird populations. The course is intended for a general audience\, with no special knowledge of birds needed. \nBill Young is a writer and naturalist who lives in Kensington\, Maryland. His book The Fascination of Birds: From the Albatross to the Yellowthroat\, was published by Dover Publications in 2014.

SUMMARY:Ferrets: The Road to Recovery (Virtual)
DESCRIPTION:(MD) (Smithsonian Environmental Research Center) Half a century ago\, scientists believed the last black-footed ferrets—the only ferrets native to North America—had gone extinct.
