DESCRIPTION:(DC) (Rock Creek Conservancy) The Rock Creek community gathers each year for this gala to support the Conservancy’s mission of protecting\, restoring\, and celebrating the park and its watershed by inspiring stewardship\, engaging communities\, and building partnerships. We’re excited to hold the Party in Rock Creek Park’s landmark venue\, the Carter Barron Amphitheater\, as we enjoy amazing drinks from our mixologist\, delicious appetizers\, and stunning park views under the stars! \n\n\n\n\nWe’re thrilled that this year’s Party will feature a jazz trio led by the talented woodwind doubler and composer Langston Hughes\, II. Kojo Nnamdi is honoring the Conservancy by returning as the Party’s emcee\, and Sadie O’Conor and Eric Lane will dazzle us courtesy of the Shakespeare Theatre Company!
