DESCRIPTION:(DC) (National Park Service) Join the National Capital Region Invasive Plant Management Team to remove invasive shrubs and vines to make room for native flora and fauna on the island. We will meet at the Pedestrian Bridge\, located on the Virginia side of the island. No skills or prior knowledge are required for these events. Volunteers who sign up will receive an email with further details about the event 48 hours prior to its start.
