SUMMARY:Wild Rice Seeding at River Terrace
DESCRIPTION:(DC) (Anacostia Watershed Society) Join the Anacostia Watershed Society to propagate wild rice (Zizania aquatica) seeds through mudballing (seeding) in wetlands along the River Terrace Park section of the Anacostia River. We will mix the wild rice seeds in mud and toss our wild rice mudballs into exposed mudflats to encourage plant growth.
