DESCRIPTION:(DC) (District Department of Energy and Environment) The DC Department of Energy and Environment (DOEE) invites you to participate in a site walk for the Kingman & Heritage Islands Trails and Amenities Design Project. \nThe day will begin with a guided walk through the project area\, allowing participants to experience the islands’ natural features firsthand while learning about existing conditions and opportunities. This site walk is part of the Pre-Design Phase of a two-year design period. Later in the afternoon\, we will hold an in-person charrette on Education and Ecology. You do not need to attend both events\, but you are welcome to. (See the separate Eventbrite page.)
